Help the Children is making a difference. I have a listed a few bullet points to show what is happening in 2007.

PROGRAMS:

• 2007 we sent three containers of food, personal hygiene items and medicines to South Korea networking with the Seventh Day Adventist Church of LA.
• 2007 we sent two containers of clothes, shoes and medical supplies to Uganda, Africa.
• 2007 we sent two containers of medical supplies and one container of vitamins to Peru networking with Rice International.
• 2007 we sent one container of vitamins, clothes, shoes and medical supplies to Guatemala City, Guatemala networking with Hungry Children Ministries.
• 2007 we sent five containers of medical supplies and medical equipment to Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey and Tampico.
• 2007 we sent over 2,500 Love Cartons, Women’s care boxes and our Kids Kits to the Native Americans in Arizona, Utah and North Dakota.
• 2007 we have continued to send relief supplies to the victims of Hurricane Katrina in Gulfport and Bay St Louis, Mississippi.

DISASTERS:

• We sent food boxes, personal hygiene items, clothing and clean up supplies to the fire victims in southern California.  Since we are headquartered in Los Angeles we were able to be one of the first responder.
• We sent 4 container loads of food, medicines, hygiene items, clothing and water purifying equipment to Nicaragua to help the victims of Hurricane Felix.  It is our goal to continue to help in the northeast portion of the country until the need is gone.

MEDICAL OUTREACHES:

• 2007 we had three medical / dental outreaches to Baja California, Mexico where we treated over 1,500 children and their families with their physical and spiritual needs.
• 2007 we had a medical / dental outreach in Guatemala City, Guatemala where we treated more than 600 children and their families with their physical and spiritual needs.  Many of the children there need visited a dentist before.  We took over 20 dental students from USC on this outreach and these students were really blessed being able to help the poorest of the poor in Guatemala.
• We send 600 backpacks with school supplies to Guatemala, we networked with New Life Hispanic Ministries in Los Angeles.
• In March & June of 2007 we had two outreaches where we networked with Radio Zion, and the event was called “Bendiciendo tu Ciudad” (Blessing your City) where 350 people give their lives to Jesus Christ!
• We held events in the cities of Maywood and Baldwin Park, California by providing food, clothing and personal hygiene items to the needy.
• We give away 2,600 lbs. of chickens during the community day in the inner cities of South Central Los Angeles networking with Lift Up America Ministries and Inner City Ministries.
• On Thanksgiving we give 1,200 food baskets with turkeys in partnership with the Maywood Police Department in Maywood, California.
• We distributed over 500 turkeys to our Military Family Assistance Program to military families in San Bernardino National Guard just returning for the war in Iraq.
