Help the Children is a nonprofit organization that responds to natural disasters here in the United States and around the world. As you have heard, Hurricane Sandy has devastated the Northeast with more than 80 deaths and literally thousands are homeless and thousands more without power with the cold weather coming.

We need your help. We have two semi truckloads of food, clothing, personal care items, blankets, and clean-up supplies ready to ship. We have the ability to ship more but we need the funds to pick up donated items and transport them to the East Coast where these supplies are greatly needed.

Our needs are as follows:

$10,000 to transport 2 truckloads of relief supplies to the East Coast

$5,000 to procure additional relief supplies

$5,000 to transport another shipment once the logistics is in order for a different distribution center.

Anything that you can do to help us provide these supplies to those affected by Hurricane Sandy would be greatly appreciated.

All donations to Help the Children are tax deductible and we will provide you a thank you letter along with your tax-deductible receipt. Any gift, no matter the size is greatly appreciated.

On behalf of those affected by this terrible disaster, please accept our deepest thanks for anything that you can do.

Gratefully,

Roger Presgrove
