Elizabeth

I am Elizabeth Timothy and aged sixteen. I am born in a family of four, two boys and two girls, I being the second last. My both parents are alive but in their old age and are all mere farmers. Three of us now have finished their primary education remainder the last born who by now is in standard four.

I finished my primary education in the year 2007, whereby I attained grade A-. Due to financial constrains, I had no hope of joining a Secondary School. It was during that state when a neighbour informed my parents about Travellers Oasis Centre School which finds sponsors for students who pass well in their primary education but their parents are not able to take them into a Secondary school.

Although it was a good idea, they had no money to do for me the shopping required to take me to a Boarding School. Luckily, the neighbour offered to do the shopping which was required for me and took me to school on the reporting day. By now I am in form two and doing marvellous in my studies. I promise to continue with the same spirit until I achieve my goal of becoming a Surgeon.
