September 1999 Newsletter
Our food program is continuing to grow.
we are constantly adding new groups that have the same focus as CNI, which is to help alleviate hunger throughout Southeren California and to share the good news of Jesus Christ to those who will listen.
our food donors are giving more food to us to help compensate the additional groups that are recieving from CNI by June 2000. With this goal comes a huge financial burden. However, we believe that we are doing God's will and we believe that we will reach this goal.
Here are some of the agencies that we partner with that help provide food to our programs and we would like to say "thanks" for all their support to out work.

international Outreaches
We recently shipped 1 container to Romania to help at an orphanage in Cluj, Romania. Thy house approximately 200 children between the ages of 5-14 years old. We sent our care boxes along with 100 lb. bags of beans, vitamins, personal hygein items, and clothing.
Currently, our dental team of Doctors under the direction of Dr. Mike Roerts, is in Rotan, Honduras. Their goal is to treat as many children as possible in 5 days. Please keep Dr. Roberts and his team in your prayers. His goal is to not only treat these children, but also to share the good news of Jesus Christ with each child and their families. Pray also for a safe return flight for all those involved in this medical outreach.
Outreach to Native Americans With Operation Blessing
The week of September 15th through the 18th CNI will be teaming up with operation Blessing by providing food, personal hygein, over the counter medicines, clothing and toys to thousands of Native American indians in Arizona. It is our desire to not only provide food, but to share the gift of eernal life by witnessing to them the gospel of Jesus Christ!
Please pray for this outreach that many will come to know Jesus as their personal Savior and Lord. We have been planning this event for more than6 months and we belive that this is the timing to reach out to as many Native Americans as possible.

Just as churches feelthe crunch during the summer months, we too, as a parachurch have felt the crunch this summer. Unfortunately, the need for food continues as does the need to help spread the good news of Jesus Christ.
We really do need your financial support at this time. If you have never contributed to Children's Network International I would like to ask you to pray and ask God if you are to help. Thank you in advance for any finacial support you can give at this time.
Thanks slso for your prayers. we are truly thankful for continued support that we have recieved from friends like you.
May you always keep joy, happiness, love, and closeness to out risen Savior Jesus Christ!
