Care Box Program Update
Our care box program has grown far beyond our expectations. We are now distributing more than 750 boxes per week. That's and increase of 50%!
Our care boxes contain canned goods, bags of rice, beans, fruit snacks, nutritional bars, cereal, drinks, powdered milk, pasta, pasta sauce, a toy, and a christian tract. These care boxes weigh 35 lbs.
We need your help! If you would like to help purchase rice and beans, help pay for the tracks or even the boxes, we can sure use your support! With our increase in care box distribution, comes an increase in spending. As you are aware, we do not recieve any government funding. All our support comes from friends like you, churches and foundations.
If you would like to partner with us, we have provided a response card and envelope for your convenience. Please return the enclosed response card today along with your check to help us purchase much needed food supplies for our program.
We are in our final stage of completion of our training center. (We still need computers!) It is our goal to provide instructional computer training skills to homeless and jobless individuals who have completed a rehabilitation program from the Salvation Army. Please pray that many will not only learn computer skills, but also come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
