Eunice
My names are Eunice Kamene Mutuku. I am a girl of fifteen years. I came from a family of six and I am the third born. There are two girls and four boys. None of my brothers and sisters has completed primary school education due to many problems there at home. My parents divorced seven years ago and we were left with out mother whose economic activity was burning charcoal.
My elder brother and sister had to step out of school two yeas after the divorcing when my mother fell sick. I was brought into this school with the help of my pastor when I was in standard three and the last born in standard seven, another one in standard eight. I am now in form 1 in Travellers Oasis Centre.
I am aiming higher to help my younger brothers who are in primary school; one is in standard seven, another one in standard three and the last born in standard one. I thank you very much for sponsoring this school which is now sponsoring me. Although there is a lot of famine in our country Kenya, the school provides us with four meals per day and we also drink fresh water and sleep in a safe place. May God bless you.
Yours faithfully,
EUNICE KAMENE MUTUKU
