February 2000 Newsletter
We had the great opportunity this month to network with Franklin Grahm and Samaritan's Purse by providing medical supplies for their outreaches to North Korea. We provided orthopedic braces, surgical gloves, and other miscellaneous medical supplies. The total amount of supplies were more than $300,000 wholsale value. These supplies will be used by World Medical Missions, to provide treatment to needy children and their families as well as orphanages. We had the great opportunity this month to partner with Scott Davis and Calvary Community Church of Westlake where we provided food, viamins, gift packs, and toys to Russia. These supplies will be shared at an orphage called Solochi in Ryazan. Scott Davis mentioned that the need in Ryazan is great and that they are in need of most everything. Scott said that our care boxes are a tremendous blessing and many childrena and their families will go to bed full from the food that God gave them. Please pray for the people of Ryazan that they will come to know Jesus Christ as their personal savior and Lord. Local Food Distribution Program By God's grace we have expanded our food distribution program to more than 100 food groups throughout Southern California. We are now distriuting more than 600,000 pounds of fresh produce and nonperishable food items each month. Our focus is to help one child at a time by providing nutritios food, personal Hygeine items, and other supplies to low income families. It has been said that if you provide healthy food to children they will do much better in school and with their families. Not only are we providing nutritious food but we are also providing clothing, medical supplies and equipment, over the counter medicationas, and personal hygein items to more than 75,000 families a week. Friends like you make it possible. Thank you. Sincerely,
Roger Presgrove, President
